Happy Earth Day/Your Planet Needs You

It’s Earth Day, a day of hope and action in the service of our home and planet. What are you going to do?
Things we’re going to do:
1) Donate to provide Solar Ovens to those in need.
2) Participate in the Green Apple Music Festival, an event to increase awareness about global warming. And bonus: it’s carbon neutral!
3) Use recycled paper.
What we’ve done so far:
1) Use Compact Fluorescent light bulbs.
2) Opt for green power.
3) Recycle–who doesn’t?
4) Join the virtual march to stop global warming.
5) Buy local products as much as we can.
6) Buy things with as little packaging as we can.
The Discovery Channel is running its “Planet Earth” series all day today. When you return home tonight from your green call to action, let the majesty of our world inspire you to even greater preservation and conservation.
